Improvement Low Energy Photon Treatments at KEK
Release of New Improvements (May, 2000)
We are interesting the low-energy photon transport below a few hundred
keV. To treat such low-energy photons correctly, we improve low energy
photon transport in EGS4. Following items are included;
- linearly-polarized photon scattering
- the Doppler broadening
- L photo-electron, L X-ray and Auger electron including general treatment of
photo-electric-related phenomena for compounds or mixtures
- electron impact ionization
All improvements are revised and summarized as mentioned in
