Education on radiation using EGS code

Invisible nature of radiation ray causes a difficulty for understanding radation ray. One solution might be utilizing a particle trajectory displaed on a computer terminal. Utilization of a computer should be effective for an education because the participants tend to concentrate on an object and an observation of particle trajectory is useful for an understanding of interaction between radiation ray and matter. We published an example of "education on radiation ray" using electromagnetic cascade Monte Carlo code EGS4 and its particle trajectory display system as KEK Internal 2001-11 and 2018-3. When you download files below, please notify Hirayama (hideo.hirayama@kek.jp). Thanks. Particle trajectory display system and EGS related program Last modified on 16NOV2018.
