Q1. CGVIEW is quite slow on some PC. How should I do?

A1. OpenGL looks like quite slow on Intel graphic driver. Response will become reasonably quick by the following method. Please try.

<Disable accelerator function from windows flag>

1) Right click on desctop where there is no icon.

2) Select "Property" from the menu.

3) Select "setting" tab in display property window.

4) Click "detailed setting" (Windows XP) / "detail" (Windows 2000).

5) Select "Trouble shooting" tab in the window.

6) Move "Hard accelerator" tab in Hard Accelerator toward left end (=none) or the second from the left end.


Q2. How do I know that graphic boad in made by intel?

A2.

1) Right click on desctop where there is no icon.

2) Select "Property" from the menu.

3) Select "Setting" tabb in "Property of dispaly" window. Name of graphic board is shown under "display".


Q3. Is it possible to display pict file before 2006 July using cgview 2.0.0?

A3. It will be displayed without any problem.


Q4. I created pict file using user code distributed in 2006 August. The pict file could not be displayed by previous version of cgvew1.3.2. How should I do?

A4. Please update CGVIEW toward version 2.0.0.


Q5. I could not install cgview to linux. (2006-09-13)

A5. Please follow "installation" section of the manual. The procedure has two ways depending on wheter your account has root. Alternative way to handle library file is as follows; Copy the libborqt-6.9.0-qt2.3.so to "LD_LIBRARY_PATH" (ex,/usr/lib/gcc3.4.4/lib ) and creat a link to libborqt-6.9-qt2.3.so.
